Village structures do not generate foundations, leading to ugly results next to paths

Most village generated structures are generated sitting on top of the ground, rather than being set within it. While this is unnoticable in many cases, when adjacent to a path which is visually 15/16 of a block, this reveals plain grass or dirt blocks below it which is very irritating. Attached are some screenshots of this bad generation, as well as fixed versions of them.

Also most other structures in biomes with grass turn the grass beneath them to dirt immediately, whereas villages do not - replacing the grass blocks with cobblestone, planks or otherwise would also eliminate this unwanted inconsistency.
