The Bug:
The eye lines of bats hanging from blocks don't face in directions in conjunction with their models.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Obtain a bat spawn egg and summon a platform of blocks above you by using the command provided below.
/fill ~7 ~3 ~7 ~-7 ~3 ~-7 minecraft:polished_andesite hollow
- Use the bat spawn egg against the ceiling and stand a fair distance away from the bat in order to allow it to hang from the blocks.
- Switch into spectator mode and enable entity hitboxes by pressing F3 + B.
- Look at the eye line of the bat.
- Take note as to whether or not the eye lines of bats hanging from blocks face in directions in conjunction with their models.
Observed Behavior:
The eye lines of bats don't face in directions in conjunction with their models.
Expected Behavior:
The eye lines of bats would face in directions in conjunction with their models. For example, if the bat's model appeared to be facing north when hanging upside down, their eye line should also face this way.
