When holding a barrier block in the main hand slot in Creative mode, the red barrier particle does not render in behind translucent blocks (such as stained glass and water). The particle still renders in behind fully transparent parts of textures (such as the windows in doors)

What I expected to happen was...:

When I held the barrier block item, the red barrier particle should have appeared behind translucent objects.

      What actually happened was...:

Instead, the translucent objects obscured the barrier block particle.

      Steps to Reproduce:

      1. While in Creative mode, run the command /give @s minecraft:barrier to give yourself a barrier block.
      2. Place a wall or large group of barrier blocks in a part of your world.
      3. Place a translucent block (such as stained glass) between yourself and the wall of barrier blocks.
      4. Hold the barrier block in your main hand.

UPDATE: I found this bug while I had a texture pack equipped (as evident by the screenshots), but I have been able to reproduce it using the vanilla textures.
