The bug
If you get an effect in creative mode, while your inventory is open, you will not see your effect until you close and open your inventory. This only happens in creative mode, but this does not happen if you already have an effect before getting the effect.
How to reproduce:
- Make sure to not have an effect
- Be in creative mode
- Throw a splash potion at you
- Open your inventory before you get the effect
You will see the effect icon at the top right, but you won’t see it in your inventory. If you then close and open your inventory again, you will see the effect.
