head in a fence

on minecraft my head was in a fence
it shouldn't place the fence down

i went into a fence
i put the fence down when i was on the brick in creative and it went into me

Steps to Reproduce:
1. i put a fence down
2. then i went on the fence
3. and placed it down then i was in a fence
