What I did:
Used a resource pack to change the sounds of a boat (entity.boat.paddle_land and entity.boat.paddle_water) to longer sounds than the Minecraft default.
What I expected:
Sounds to wait until the last sound ended, and the sounds not being constantly playing until the last one ends.
Sounds were playing over themselves, meaning that sounds were "Shadowed" by other ones of the same resource pack.
How to replicate:
Make a Resource Pack that changes any of the 14 boat sounds in assets/minecraft/sounds/entity/boat
6 sounds are paddle_land1-6.ogg
8 sounds are paddle_water1-8.ogg
ride a boat in either ice or water, use sounds that are longer than the vanilla ones.
