I'm working on expanding my gold farm and the zombie pigmen now fall several times before dying. After each fall they should track a new set of turtle eggs at their  new y-value. But after taking fall damage, the zombie pigmen no longer track turtle eggs. They just sit there. However if I save  and quite then relaunch world they correctly start tracking the eggs again.

Gold Farm is in Nether Wastes above Nether Ceilling

I have a video of this but i can't upload it cause file size limit. If a mojang guy is reading this i guess u could send me an email and i can send the video

i opened a backup the same world in 1.16.1 release and it seems to have the same problem. Im starting to think this might not be a bug. I really hope it is a bug tho, cause im going to have to redesign my gold farm otherwise.
