I noticed that a ton of my computer storage had suddenly filled up throughout the day and eventually pinpointed the problem. The .minecraft/logs folder was the culprit and had taken up 100GB of space on my computer. It turns out that my log from playing Minecraft yesterday was 10GB alone and there were several other ones similar in size.

I noticed someone else had this problem on a Minecraft forums site (minecraftforum.net) but that thread did not have a solution.
