Somehow turning off Minecraft during a backup corrupts the world. I tried to play my 1.15.2 world on 1.16.1, and backup was taking so long and Minecraft was not repsonding soI turned it off (or let windows do it because it was not responding to be more precise) and backed up manually, but it turns out the original save got corrupted, so my manual backup was as well as I backed it up after the fact. The End is fine, and I think player data is mostly fine as well though it's hard to tell, so I guess the parts that finished backing up or didn't start backing up didn't get corrupted, but overworld on the other hand got re-generated, destroying everything built in the world.
The world is 5 Gigabytes so I can't really attach it here, though the backup that I then created was only closer to 2 Gigabytes, not sure if it means anything (already after the world was corrupted, I went to 1.16.1 and finally played the original that I didn't touch yet, and I let it backup fully this time through the game itself. I knew it was corrupted because I played the copies I made manually and they did not work neither on 1.15.2 nor 1.16.1)
