I'm only reporting this as a bug in the off chance this isn't supposed to be intended behavior in the first place, but, in case this is indeed a bug; changing a block's parent block model in its .json file to be orientable does not change the block to actually face the player on placement.

      Example:

      What I Did:

      Replaced block/top with block/orientable in jukebox.json from furnace.json

      What I Expected:

The front of the jukebox (which I had changed to a different texture) to always face me when placed down

      What Happened:

The front of the jukebox continued to always face south/north/ect (whichever one it faces by default, I've forgotten)

Like I've said, this may be intended behavior to stop resource pack makers from having too much control but if it's an oversight, I've reported it.
