When mining diamond ore with a gold pickaxe, the diamond ore block is broken, but no diamonds are obtained.  Is this a deliberate change from previous versions?

 Never mind.  I see on the wiki that gold pickaxes no long will  mine diamond ore.  Please ignore this report.
