I was interested in trying to defeat the ender dragon with Redstone. While I was successful. I discovered a bug in the game where if you place a one block waterfall where the dragon is, it will get confused and constantly stay in the middle. The dragon will also mistake blocks above the middle thing as the middle. I was setting up some dispensers about 20 blocks above the middle stage and he comes in resting on the dispensers instead of the bedrock below.
