Beds Exploding in the Nether

Issue

I am having an issue where using Minecraft Multiplayer 1.16.1 Version beds will not explode in the nether as they should.

Replication Steps

Go to the nether and place a bed down and attempt to sleep, the bed just disappears instead of exploding.

Attempted Fixes

I've tried re-installing the jar file. (deleting and reuploading)

Playing on a separate server and trying the same.
