      The Bug:

      Mining frost walker ice doesn't show the block breaking animation

      To Reproduce:

      1. Find a body of water (or create one yourself)
      2. Use the frost walker enchantment
      3. Try mining the said ice
        → The cracking animation doesn't appear

      (for better results, do this at night)
