      The bug

      Villagers are able to offer curse enchantments in java, but can’t do that in bedrock. This was reported for bedrock, but resolved as works as intended. MCPE-84906 Since the curse enchantments were added on bedrock in the nether update, the parity issue was introduced in the nether update.
