Countless white beams of light manifest in flat vertical panes colectively streaching into the sky appearing when the player approaches.

After resetting my world icon, certain areas in my immediate vicinity became clustered with white beams of light. The vertical beams appeared to sit in clusters mid air and in larger amounts in open areas. It did not seem to penetrate the interior of buildings with roofs. They are not immediately visible until I am several blocks away at which point they shift from faint to straight white. It is very difficult to see through them, they are however not solid, they only seem to affect my player visually. It is like a fog, one that appears when you are close. It is impossible to see what may be near you. It seemed to disappear when the snow and rain stopped, I am not sure if this is permanent or not.
