I got a pig with a lead and then he walked off the side of a cliff I was building and went inside it (it was mostly hollow) then I noticed the lead wasn't breaking despite the fact that I was pretty far from the pig. I then tried to see how far I could walk from the pig. I could walk far enough from the pig for minecraft to stop rendering the lead. the lead did not seem to be pulling the pig either
