Block gets deleted when mob walks at same time as block is placed

When placing blocks on the same area as the mob walks at the same time, the block gets deleted. It does not visually appear to be placed as well as gets removed from your inventory, essentially losing the block.

How to reproduce: Place block in the same area as a mob walks in. See that block isn't placed and is deleted from inventory (in Survival)
