I bought my copy of Minecraft Java Edition in late 2015. I spent my $26.99 on it and have played it fairly regularly since then. On April 17th 2020 I attempted to redeem my free code for the Windows 10 version of Minecraft, however it said there was an issue and it told me to wait. So I waited and attempted again on the 19th, but still it said to try again later. Then again on the 21st and the 27th and a few more times until today. I just now found out that all copies would no longer be free for java edition players on April 20th 2020, but how is it that I can only find this out almost a full month later. The announcement was barely visible, I only found it after sending multiple tickets to Mojang and searching forms for hours. How is it that a big company like Mojang could make an important announcement like this so hidden. If I had known I would have tried to redeem my code again on the 17th and sent a ticket then, but I didn't due to how hidden this announcement was. I can't afford a copy of Windows 10 Minecraft to play with my brother now, simply because you guys didn't do an announcement properly, and kept having errors with me redeeming y code. This is extremely unfair and I wanted to let you know how displeased I am with your jobs at Mojang. The only way to help me would be to send me a windows 10 code, which in reality shouldn't make a difference because I should have one right now anyways. I doubt anyone will actually read this though, considering how incompetent you were with the announcement about bedrock edition there is a very low chance you actually have people reading these tickets.
