sometimes when i play minecraft java edition my custom controls reset to default, such as; i have auto jump off but often it keeps switching back on for no obvious reason.

• i have worked out what causes it, it happens when i change versions (i usually switch to 1.8.9 when i play on servers ). when i switch all the controls reset. I do not know if this is intentional or not, if this is intentional may i ask why?
