I could not find anything on the changelog about this. But Zombified Piglins previously would drop experience points if the entity cramming was great enough to kill them while they were aggroed against a player. Not sure if this was intentional and not stated or if it was a bug that was accidentally changed when changing the aggro of Zombified Piglins in the last pre-release.
