Would have expected them to be completely square, like with almost all other block models. This vertically stretched appearence may have made sense for the pre-1.8 model, where these planes were slanted inwards, however since they're completely vertical now it doesn't look quite right.

Note that this is a model issue, as opposed to a texture issue.
