When I first loaded my survival world in the newest snapshot, there was an abnormal amount of lag that would not resolve even if I optimized video settings so that it might run more smoothly. I also tried dedicating more RAM to Minecraft, but that did not improve the lag whatsoever. I know it is an issue with the latest snapshot because I loaded worlds on the previous snapshot (20w21a) and there was absolutely no lag.
