Horrible performance using Intel HD Graphics 3000 on Ubuntu 20.04 and several other issues

      Due to the new graphics rendering changes, performance on Intel Graphics HD 3000 integrated processor is extremely worse than the last snapshot (20w21a). On 20w21a and below, the game used to run perfectly at about 59~60 fps constantly with only few fps drops when chunk was loading. Now, the game runs constantly at 30~35 fps and fps drops constantly, with very high cpu usage, making my laptop too slow.

      Another problem caused by this change is the clouds, now they can be seen through blocks and entities, as seen in the following snapshot:
      And also by turning off the clouds while looking at them, it causes them to be frozen throughout the image like a burn-in effect:
