OS: Windows 7 x86
Java version: 8u51 (the one bundled with the official launcher)
RAM: 2GB (the launcher's default JVM arguments state an allocation of 800MB which is within my possibilities so that should not be the issue)
CPU: Athlon X64 X2 +3800 2GHz
GPU: ATI Radeon Xpress 200 (supports OpenGL 2.1 so it should be enough for Minecraft to run)OS: Windows 7 x86 Java version: 8u51 (the one bundled with the official launcher) RAM: 2GB (the launcher's default JVM arguments state an allocation of 800MB which is within my possibilities so that should not be the issue) CPU: Athlon X64 X2 +3800 2GHz GPU: ATI Radeon Xpress 200 (supports OpenGL 2.1 so it should be enough for Minecraft to run)

Minecraft crashes with an access violation, something related to the glTexParameteri()
method (in the Render Thread). This happens in 1.15.2, and it seems to happen since 1.15.
Steps to reproduce:
1 - Open Minecraft version 1.15.2;
2 - Create a world (I've tried with Default and Superflat, same thing happens);
3 - The game will run at 1 - 2 fps for around 30 seconds before it ultimately crashes.
I am posting this as a bug because versions 1.14.4 and below work just fine, and at higher framerates, which makes me believe it's an issue from the game itself.
Only the official Mojang launcher, and the vanilla version of the game were used (no mods).
Crash report attached below.
