Description

When using notebook in minecraft, with my mouse I selected a random text I've had written before, pressed and held delete and then backspace. I've tried to move the cursor to the beginning of my text and tried again. Nothing happened and my game crashed with the following exception:

The game crashed whilst keypressed event handler
Error: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: 148

Server I was playing on: 

Server's mode's version I was playing on was 1.12.2
