Some food goes through shields when eating.

Steps to Reproduce

• Hold a shield in your offhand and some food in your main hand.

  /item replace entity @s weapon.offhand with minecraft:shield
  /item replace entity @s weapon.mainhand with minecraft:bread
  

• Switch into creative mode, and begin eating the bread multiple times.
• Take note as to whether or not food renders through shields during the eating animation.

Observed Behavior

Food renders through shields during the eating animation.

Expected Behavior

Food would not render through shields during the eating animation.
