Hi, earlier today I attempted to install Badlion client for when I play Hypixel, however when I pressed launch it would load and then nothing would happen. Eventually I moved on and kept playing without it. But when I go to get back on later, it won't launch, the error message said:

Failed to download file. Name: af_za.json URL: https://resources.download.minecraft.net/c5/c5b078f07080af20c0b8fd0030058a10dbff06f2 Error details: schannel: next InitializeSecurityContext failed: SEC_E_UNTRUSTED_ROOT (0x80090325) - The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted. Filename on disk: c5b078f07080af20c0b8fd0030058a10dbff06f2 Path: C:\Users\Aiden\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\assets\objects\c5\c5b078f07080af20c0b8fd0030058a10dbff06f2 Exists: Nonexistent

I tried to fix it first by uninstalling Badlion and when that didn't work, by going to the link, downloading each file, and putting it in the right folder. But when I did that and tried to launch, every time a new file name would come up. Next, I used the launcher installer a couple of times, when that failed I reinstalled and uninstalled Badlion again, which didn't work. Then I deleted the assets folder where the problem was, nothing changed except a new error message showed up, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the launcher, same thing, then I uninstalled my \.minecraft\ folder and the launcher and reinstalled the launcher, and the same thing kept happening, a new error came up:

Failed to download file. patchy-1.1.jar Name: patchy-1.1.jar URL: https://libraries.minecraft.net/com/mojang/patchy/1.1/patchy-1.1.jar Error details:schannel: next InitializeSecurityContext failed: SEC_E_UNTRUSTED_ROOT (0x80090325) - The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted. Filename on disk: patchy-1.1.jar Path: C:/Users\Aiden\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\libraries\com/mojang/patchy/1.1/patchy-1.1.jar Exists: Nonexistant

After this, I went to the link and created all the folders it goes in and put the file in there (none of the Minecraft folders exist now), but when I go to the launcher and try to launch again, I get a similar thing!

Failed to download file. I have scanned for malware and viruses, nothing came up, and I have uninstalled McAfee and whatever other antiviruses could be causing this.  Also, before I uninstalled everything it worked on forge, fabric, and impact, just not vanilla versions, but I want to play in vanilla for my singleplayer world.  I have no idea what to do, I don't care about losing anything, I just want to play Minecraft. Please somebody help me
