When I tried to open Minecraft, it simply wouldn't work.

      My friends were all playing Minecraft Java together, and it seemed like fun, so I decided to try it too. When I tried to open it, it said:

      Failed to load URL mojang://launcher/index.html with error ERR_FAILED (-2).

      I've tried to re-download it, restarting my computer, and more. I know there are many for with this complaint, but I haven't actually found how to fix this anywhere on this website. Please contact me with a resolution soon.
