Maps that are created by players are filling normally, however after a restart of the server the numbering of maps restarts (i.e. if 20 maps were created before server restart, the first map created after server restart is not named "Map 21", but instead is named "Map 1") and any existing maps that have the same number as a newly created map are overwritten with the content of the newly created map (so the map 1 that was created before server restart now has the same content as the map 1 created after server restart.)
This will still occur even if the maps are renamed with an anvil or are locked with a pane of glass before the server is restarted.
