I was playing on a friends minecraft server and it randomly disconnected me. When I tried reconnecting it gave me the error message "io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$annotatedconnectexception connection timed out no further information" 

I tried to reinstall minecraft without any mods just the base version but it still didnt work (deleted the .minecraft folder aswell) . I restarted my router and it still does not work. I tried a few things like giving Java more rights to get past the firewall (also deactivated the whole firewall and restarted computer but still didnt work) 

Than I tried to just log in using a wifi hotspot and this worked.
Does anyone know why my own internet (lan or wlan tried both) does not work but a random wifi hitspot does and how I might be able to fix this problem so I can use my internet network again.
