With the new resource pack system, the texts for "credits" and "end" do not show up upon beating the dragon and leaving through the portal (either with a resource pack on, or using default vanilla textures). The credit screen will start up, the Minecraft logo will roll, and then it will fade out without listing any text at all.

On that note: "splashes" works fine in both default and with a resource pack on.
