Wooden pickaxe will drop broken iron doors, trapdoors and bars, and heavy weighted pressure plates, cauldrons, anvils and hoppers, despite these being made out of iron

      As iron ore and iron blocks require stone pickaxes or above to drop, them dropping when mined with a wooden pickaxe doesn't make much sense.
