if placed fast enough, (with an autoclicker, about 20 cps) scaffolding can be broken at the bottom while keeping some blocks stationary at the top. these block disappear when updated, but more scaffolding can be placed off of them that becomes this "Ghost-scaffolding". placing this scaffolding off of a previews ghost scaffolding takes your blocks, but hen your inventory slot is updated all the used blocks come back and the ghost scaffolding stays there. these ghost blocks are completely client side - to other players it looks like you are floating and there is no hitbox. Real blocks can be placed off this ghost scaffolding that appear for all other players and are not ghost blocks. it is essentially a strategy for infinite bridging. re logging removes all ghost blocks and gives all scaffolding back
