When entering a nether portal in Survival mode an animation is played and an overlay appears on the screen to signify that transporation is starting. However, after teleporting to the other dimension, when the player is standing inside of the portal, this screen animation will still continue to play even though the portal isn't taking the player anywhere. This animation should probably not play on this occasion.
