I use the r5 3400g, in a windows 10 system, plenty of storage on an M.2 SSD, 16gb of ram. No dedicated graphics.

When I launch the game, I get a quick flash of the mojang logo, before my screen goes black. In the background, the game starts, music plays. It isn't frozen, I can (I assume, thanks to the audio cues) interact with buttons. I get no error messages, F11 does nothing, tabbing out shows the game working just fine while it's being previewed.
While screensharing on discord to troubleshoot, friends see the game as up and running. Is this a problem with my monitor/graphics or is it something in the game itself? I have started it up (somehow, I don't know how) in windowed mode once and was able to play the game for hours.
If the issue is on my end, how can I start up the game in windowed fullscreen to just avoid the black screen?
Lastly, this occurs on all minecraft versions
