      The bug

      After a naturally iron golem has killed you, the golem will pathfind towards the world spawn. The golem will then spin around at the world spawn and does not attack even if you attack it.

      This can happen if both the villager and iron golem is near the world spawn. Changing the world spawn with the setworldspawn command also works.

      How to reproduce

      1. Run the following command:
         /summon villager ~ ~ ~ {Gossips: [{Target: [I; 1106706694, 1753693297, -1555261917, 1932855214], Type: "minor_negative", Value: 200}]}
      2. Summon an iron golem
      3. Go to survival and get slained by the golem
        The golem then pathfinds towards the world spawn of where the player initially spawned.

      The bug no longer happens as soon as the world has been saved, and re-entering the world fixes the golem's AI. The nearby golem may attack while pathfinding towards the world spawn.

      Similar to MC-153697, the iron golem will walk in a strange way.
