I am fishing on the open water in my snapshot survival world while in a boat. 

My fishing rod is in my offhand, and a honey bottle in my main hand.

When I drink the honey bottle, the fishing rod line disconnects momentarily, then snaps back on.

It's a minor visual glitch, but should be fixed.
