Upon repeatedly expanding a map in a crafting table without removing any items, the crafting table removes one and then doubles the amount of paper in each slot after two successive expansions. When trying to remove the paper, however, the paper reverts to the expected amount. As well, the map is shown as an unknown map. Viewing the unknown map in a single-player world does little, occasionally tanking performance; however, in multiplayer, viewing the map causes the player to be repeatedly kicked. Seemingly, the only way to stop this effect is to kill the player or clear their inventory of the map. Upon further testing, simply creating a map from an unknown map in the same multiplayer world also triggers the repeated kicking.
