What I expected to happen was...:
Beacon beam would render transparent

What actually happened was...:
It rendered without transparency (solid white, in this case)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to add transparency to the beacon beam texture in a resource pack
2. Apply resource pack

3. Look at beacon beam
