      The bug

MC-7424 fixed that the death messages when falling of a climbable block were not shown.
However, the issue is now that only the position of the climbed block is stored and therefore when the player dies the climbed block is reevaluated. This can result in incorrect death messages when the climbed block was replaced / removed after climbing and before dying.

      How to reproduce

      1. Place free hanging vines in the sky
        1. Place two blocks above each other
        2. Place vines on their side
        3. Remove the lower block
      2. Switch to Survival mode
      3. Start climbing on the vines, hold Shift to not fall off
      4. Break the vines and fall to your death
The death message says only "Player fell while climbing", but does not mention the vines
