I was playing on a server (vanilla minecraft server) and was making a big roof out of slabs. Mobs couldn't spawn on it. But on the side I had full blocks where mobs could spawn. suddenly a skeleton spawned and came from the full block to the slab platform and attacked me, but it went freaking fast on the slabs. It does that with strays and with skeletons. very weird.
