Putting the Mipmap slider on anything besides off causes blocks faraway to have outlines on them

      I am using the built in Java with the minecraft launcher
      No mods installed
      No resource packs used
      RX 580 with the latest AMD drivers as graphics card
      Ryzen 5 2600 CPU

      When I started to play Minecraft 1.15.2, I immediately noticed that every block faraway from me had an outline, creating a grid-like pattern. I immediately brought down the Mipmap slider to off on instinct, and the problem went away, but with sacrificing visual quality.
