After updating my server to 1.15.2, traveling through the nether and working on tunnels, a pigman stood in my way. "No problem," I said and took out my Smite V diamond axe and disposed of the nuisance.  The subtitles said "pigman angers".  Next thing I knew, I was waking up next to my bed in the overworld with none of my gear.  One shotting pigmen used to not anger them, but they had to die in one shot. I did search all 6 pages of "zombified piglin" related issues and did not find anything reported yet, hopefully I did not miss it.

This happened using a Cubehost server, running 1.15.2 Vanilla
