When the bees begin to fly and go down to height 0 or lower (tested in a flat world with "Void" template) them are suspended in the air only with the animation of flying even if they aren't moving. (Sorry my english, I'm spanish).

In the image that I uploaded the honey block represents the height 0 and the bees are suspended in the air below that height.
