This is for version 1.14 (not the only version that the system allows)...
This issue may have been reported several times (so forgive me).
I was doing quite well with 1.14 (Java)... Had a great time with 8 villages and miles of rail-road. Brill. I even created a replica of a sunken ship in my back garden and had a roller-coaster in the front garden.
Everything was good - until I took over a Woodland Mansion, cleared out the rooms and imported a couple of villagers from several thousand blocks away.
Now, after several months at the Mansion and three levels of villagers working very well (+300 of them) I am over-run with THOUSANDS of Golems which cause the game to slow and stutter.
(You do need to provide a user limit to the number of Golems that can spawn in the game). I have spent weeks in the game just killing them and now have enough iron to travel to the moon and back!!! But still they spawn...
Please, what can I do to stop the spawning of so many Golems - to the point where the game is unplayable. I have just had a look at downloading the latest METRO game because I can't consider the thought of going back to the Woodland Mansion - what a shame that is.
This is a brill game - lets keep it that way, please.
Kind regards,
Alan.
