When you put an item with a name that runs off the edge of the anvil gui's name space, it shoves the first letter(s) off the left side. (example: "Diamond horse armor" -> "iamond horse armor")

If you then switch this item for one with a short name, the same number of letters will be pushed off (example "Saddle" -> "addle")
