while in crafting menu in personal inventory if crafting guide is open top right 4 slots are not "clickable" or selectable. when crafting guide is closed you can then access slots again but cant drag items off to the right to drop or discard .

items selectable to move to "hot bar" or use

mouse stops at slot just before 4th block or just under

all I did was open game and open inventory by pressing "e"
