There is an animal farm on my property. And underground is my village with the villagers. From villagers spawn cats. Cats spawn everywhere. I wasn't worried about the cats. One time I went to my animal farm where there was also a rabbit farm. I saw that in the cage with the rabbits empty. They could not escape the cage consisted of a double fence and half blocks. Then I saw a cat in the next chicken pen. I knew the cat ate all the rabbits through the fence! I tested it myself in creative mode and cats really eat rabbits over the fence! And this is not the only case with the fence. Young animals sometimes go into the corner of the cage and then grow up and their HitBox increases, because of this they can go through the fence with their big HitBox which is embedded in the fence. Please fix the problems with the fence.
