Guardians swim in lava

Trying to try a guardian farm, I noticed that some of these when falling into the lava, instead of falling through it as it was done in previous versions, they try to go out, swimming, trying to return to the water, and I have tried to change the height of the lava, the distance to the water, but nothing "repairs" it
